Registered Nurse (RN) Med/Surg - PRN

Registered Nurse (RN) - Med/Surg Schedule: 12-hour shifts, PRN-As Needed. 6 shifts per 6-week requirement. Join our team in a 39-bed Medical Surgical unit where you will provide compassionate care to patients alongside a dedicated team of Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs). With a 1:6 nurse to patient ratio, you will play a crucial role in assessing patient needs, administering treatments, and ensuring patient comfort and safety. Health and Fitness Center ( American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire. AHA ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire. One year of experience preferred. Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Qualifications Current North Carolina or compact state Registered Nurse license. Associate's degree from an accredited nursing school. American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire. AHA ACLS and PALS certifications within six months of hire. One year of experience preferred. Strong critical thinking skills and decisive judgment. Ability to work with minimal supervision in a stressful environment.
