What You'll Do

• Provide care to post-operative patients in the PACU, ensuring safe and effective recovery
• Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio for personalized care
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team managing complex cases such as CABG, AAA repair, TAVR, EVAR, and more
• Monitor patient vitals and respond promptly to changing conditions
• Document patient care accurately in Epic electronic health records
• Assist with patient assessments pre- and post-operation
• Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards

What You Need

• Valid Ohio nursing license, BLS certification
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in PACU or Pre/Post anesthesia care
• Experience with Epic electronic health record system
• Ability to work day shifts, including call responsibilities

• Experience in Level 1 trauma/outpatient settings
• ACLS certification
• Previous charge nurse experience

About the Assignment This position is based at The Richard M. Ross Heart Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, focusing on adult post-surgical recovery. You'll join a specialized team managing patients after cardiac and vascular procedures, including CABG, TAVR, EVAR, and other complex interventions.
