Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse Marshall, Texas. The role provides routine and complex nursing care in an Emergency Room setting for patients including ED, trauma, medical, critical care, and pediatrics. Using the nursing process, the nurse independently delivers care that includes assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation, while addressing increasingly complex patient and family needs in alignment with the American Nursing Association (ANA) Scope and Standards of Practice. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights, 7:00 PM7:00 AM; 36.0 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (preferred); Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or compact; Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA only); Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (AHA only); Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification (AHA only); Current Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification; Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) maintained per program requirements; Completion of all annual competency verification requirements; One year of experience in the related nursing specialty (preferred)
• Preferred Qualifications: Moderate sedation competency; Electronic record experience (EPIC); Triage experience
• Additional Information: May be floated to other Emergency Room departments if needed; onboarding includes Emergency Department-specific competency validation and program tracking software documentation
