AI & Digital Solutions Specialist

Role Summary Supports the implementation of AI, automation, integration, and digital technology solutions across UNACEM North America. Responsible for improving business processes through technology, deploying automation tools, integrating business systems, and supporting digital transformation initiatives. Works closely with business leaders, vendors, and IT teams to deliver practical solutions that improve efficiency, user experience, and business performance. Organizational Position Work Location: Scottsdale, Arizona Reports To: IT Systems Manager Purpose Improve operational efficiency and business performance through the implementation of AI, automation, systems integration, and digital solutions. Support the organization's digital transformation efforts by identifying opportunities to reduce manual work, streamline processes, and enhance decision making through technology. Key Accountabilities Identify and implement automation opportunities across business functions to improve efficiency and reduce manual processes. Design, deploy, and support AI-enabled solutions using Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Agents, ChatGPT, and related technologies. Develop workflows, integrations, and business applications using Microsoft Power Platform and other low-code tools. Integrate cloud and on-premise systems through APIs, connectors, and automated data flows. Partner with business stakeholders to understand operational challenges and translate requirements into technology solutions. Manage solution implementation activities including configuration, testing, deployment, and user adoption. Provide advanced support for business applications and digital platforms. Maintain solution documentation, system configurations, and process workflows. Ensure solutions align with cybersecurity, access management, and governance requirements. Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend opportunities to improve business operations. Knowledge Strong understanding of AI technologies including Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, ChatGPT, and related platforms. Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform, workflow automation, low-code development, and systems integration. Understanding of APIs, data flows, enterprise applications, and cloud technologies. Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, identity management, and access controls. Understanding of business process improvement, workflow optimization, and digital transformation practices. Working knowledge of information security, compliance, and governance principles. Problem Solving Identifies inefficiencies and develops practical technology solutions that improve business performance. Translates business requirements into scalable automation and digital solutions. Balances technical feasibility, security requirements, and business objectives. Adapts solutions to changing business needs and emerging technologies. Interactions and Influence Frequent interaction with business leaders, department managers, end users, and technology vendors. Works closely with Operations, Finance, Human Resources, Sales, and Information Technology teams. Influences technology adoption through effective communication, training, and stakeholder engagement. Acts as a trusted advisor on AI, automation, and digital transformation opportunities. Impact Direct: Improves productivity, automation, operational efficiency, and user experience. Experience And Education Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Technology, or related field preferred. Three to seven years of experience supporting business technology solutions, automation, systems integration, or digital transformation initiatives. Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, Microsoft Copilot, AI technologies, or workflow automation preferred. Experience working directly with business stakeholders to deliver technology solutions. Manufacturing, construction, mining, or industrial industry experience preferred. Full proficiency in English, Spanish desirable.
