Emergency Services Registered NurseShift: Night 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)Job DescriptionThe Emergency Services Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing high-quality care to patients of all ages presenting with various illnesses, injuries, or trauma. This role specializes in assessing, intervening, and stabilizing patients in critical situations that require sound clinical decision-making skills.Minimum RequirementsMinimum of 2 years of nursing experienceEPIC experience requiredAccepts first-time travelers with at least 2 years of relevant experienceCertifications Required: ACLSBLSGraduate from an accredited school with NH LicensureTrauma Nurse Certification Course (within the last year)Weekend requirement: Every other weekendUnit DetailsThe Emergency Services unit serves all patient age groups and features:31 treatment roomsUtilization of PYXIS, EPIC, and SBAR for patient managementSupport from interdisciplinary teams including Pharmacy, Radiology, and PhlebotomyPatient Care ResponsibilitiesThe RN will be expected to:Care for neonates, infants, children, adults, and geriatric patientsSpecialize in emergency care, including management of critical conditions such as intubation, blood product administration, cerebrovascular accidents (CVAs), drug overdose treatment, and other emergency medicationsAssist with triage and responsibilities associated with starting and maintaining IVsAdditional InformationDaily patient ratios are 4:1 for days and nightsWeekend coverage may require additional shifts based on unit needsTravelers residing within 50 miles of the facility are accepted at the local rateNo specific scrub color preferenceCompliance and OrientationAll travelers must meet compliance requirements, including:Completion of drug screening within 14 days of the start dateOrientation hours will be provided upon acceptance of the positionLocationCity: [Insert City], State: NHIf you meet the qualifications and are interested in this opportunity, we encourage you to apply!
