CT Technologist

Position Overview: This role involves providing safe, high-quality CT imaging care in a team-oriented environment. The technologist executes clinical procedures, selects appropriate technical factors, and adheres to radiation safety principles. They assist with invasive procedures, administer contrast, and ensure proper equipment operation. Key Responsibilities Perform clinical CT procedures across diverse patient populations, ensuring age-appropriate care and radiation dose reduction. Participate in performance improvement initiatives, workflow optimization, and staff training. Maintain a clean, safe work environment, prepare patient rooms, and manage supplies. Transport patients, verify exam orders, communicate effectively to promote patient comfort, and process examinations for interpretation. Ensure equipment quality control and timely reporting of concerns. Educate and support patients, address their needs, and document care activities accurately. Act professionally, uphold ethical standards, and comply with regulatory requirements. Qualifications & Skills Associate degree or radiologic technology certification from an accredited program. Less than 1 year to 6 months of CT experience; cross-training or certification preferred. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, radiation safety, and patient care techniques.
