This may include the use of power tools, hand tools, overhead hoists and fixtures to complete assembly and transport material to and from the work station. Mechanical Assemblers are responsible for adhering to all safety and quality requirements while meeting production schedule demands.Hours: 2:00PM – 10:00PM Mon-Fri (Saturday Overtime Mandatory)Base Pay $25.59 With Differential $30.59/hour Shift Differential: $5.00Key ResponsibilitiesUsing various manual and powered hand tools to assemble units according to customer specifications.Ability to measure, cut, fit, and insulate water piping assembly.Reads blueprints work instructions, and wiring diagrams to build or modify units.Ensure completion of Quality and Production checklists/processes.Use computer to access and enter information including Windows based and CAD platforms.Keeps work area neat, clean and orderly.Operate overhead hoists, manual hand trucks, and powered industrial trucks when required.Performs other duties as assigned.Required Education & QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent required Production experience in a make-to-order assembly role is preferred.
