Job Title: Pelvic Health Physical Therapist Job Overview

Our client is seeking a dedicated Pelvic Health Physical Therapist to join their outpatient rehabilitation team in Wasilla, AK . The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive pelvic health and orthopedic physical therapy services, independently evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based care to help patients achieve optimal functional outcomes. Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop individualized plans of care.

• Assess musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, balance, coordination, gait, and functional impairments.

• Provide evidence-based pelvic health and orthopedic physical therapy interventions.

• Modify treatment plans based on patient progress and clinical outcomes.

• Educate patients on treatment plans, home exercise programs, injury prevention, ergonomics, and wellness strategies.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation according to regulatory and organizational standards.

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.

• Supervise and mentor physical therapist assistants and rehabilitation support staff.

• Reassess patient progress regularly and coordinate discharge planning and follow-up care.

• Participate in ongoing clinical education, professional development, and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or postgraduate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Active Alaska Physical Therapy License or eligibility for Alaska licensure.

• Experience in Pelvic Health Physical Therapy preferred.

• Strong clinical reasoning and patient assessment skills.

• Knowledge of orthopedic rehabilitation and evidence-based treatment techniques.

• Excellent communication, organization, and time management abilities.
