What To Expect Tesla is seeking a Used Vehicle Intake Specialist within the Used Car Operations business. This team is responsible for ensuring seamless customer experiences for all acquired lease returns across North America. What You'll Do Assess vehicle damage using photos and on-site inspections, determining severity to estimate parts, labor and repair time. Address customer inquiries about wear-and-tear fees and the intake process. Resolve customer and internal teams' requests promptly, maintaining a focus on exceptional service and accuracy. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, financial services and used car stakeholders in support of customer and vehicle journey. Prioritize tasks, organize workflows and adapt to shifting business needs, including flexible on-site presence at delivery locations as needed. Maintain detailed records of vehicle condition and assessments using Tesla’s internal tools. What You'll Bring 3‑4 years of body repair experience, or 1‑2 years of auto damage appraisal experience. 1‑2 years of customer service experience with strong communication skills. Experience identifying after-market parts. Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and web-based tools. Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed. Valid driver’s license and an acceptable and safe driving record. Ability to obtain appropriate state licensing, where applicable. Compensation Expected compensation: $17.48 – $37.62 per hour + cash and stock awards + benefits. Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
