Job Summary (Business DATA Lead)
- Role: Business DATA Lead
- Experience: 8-10 Years
- Location: USA EST, Hartford, CT
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and assist with architectural strategy and information solutions for data analytics.
- Drive technical vision, architecture design, and consensus across multiple teams.
- Work directly with CXOs and senior leadership to deliver transformational data initiatives.
- Design data analytics platforms based on business needs, especially in Insurance P&C domain.
- Manage delivery of complex data analytics consulting projects.
- Facilitate discovery of data entities, attributes, relationships, and business rules.
- Articulate and document data design, considering tradeoffs, costs, and benefits.
- Oversee data migration from on-premises databases to the cloud.
- Review requirements and estimate work effort for data solutions.
- Present architecture and solutions to senior leadership and client stakeholders.
Technical Skills:
- Strong expertise in Azure Data Factory, Power BI, ETL processes.
- Deep experience with SQL, MS SQL Server, and relational databases.
- Excellent knowledge of database concepts.
- Experience in data technology challenges in Financial, Risk, and Operations sectors.
- (Good to have) Experience as a Data Solution Architect with Business Intelligence/Analytics solutions.
- (Good to have) Experience with Microsoft Fabric.
Domain Expertise:
- Strong knowledge and experience in Insurance P&C (Property & Casualty) processes and terminologies.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and listening skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and ability to work with client stakeholders.
- Ability to design and present architecture to senior leadership.
- Strong Insurance domain knowledge.
Other Requirements:
- No background check or drug screen required.
- Mandatory Skills: Microsoft Fabric, Power BI.
