Job Skills / Requirements

Overview We are seeking an experienced and reliable Janitorial Supervisor to join our team and oversee the daily operations of our janitorial staff. The expectation is to be consistently ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and organization of the facility. This role will require a combination of leadership , hands-on cleaning , and operational tasks, including forklift operation . The ideal candidate will have experience in both management and cleaning, with the ability to lead a team, troubleshoot issues, and maintain a high standard of cleanliness.


Schedule : Full Time (Monday - Friday)

• 1st Shift - 3:00 PM-11:30 PM

Pay: Paid Weekly (every Friday!)

• $18.00/Hr.

Duties :

• Assist in developing and managing cleaning protocols and checklists to ensure consistent cleanliness across all areas.
• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
• Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
• Operation of forklifts, tuggers, and floor cleaning equipment
• Buff and polish floors to maintain their appearance.
• Conduct thorough cleaning of windows, walls, and surfaces as needed.
• Manage waste disposal and recycling efforts throughout the facility.
• Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as required.
• Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and organized.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.

Experience

• Must wear all PPE the entire duration of 8 hour shift, this includes: Steel toe shoes, hi vis vest, safety glasses, hard hat, etc.)
• Must have previous supervisory/managerial experience
• Must have experience operating a forklift
• Previous experience in custodial or janitorial roles is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is a plus.
• Knowledge of commercial cleaning standards and practices is beneficial.
• Experience with industrial cleaning methods is advantageous.
• Skills in residential painting or general maintenance can enhance your application.
