About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years in Emergency Department required. License: Active nursing license required. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH required. Must-Have: EPIC charting system experience required. Description: Mandatory questionnaire to be completed prior to consideration. Candidates must be aware of the job description and responsibilities. Flexibility with scheduling is required. Candidates must adhere to punctuality and attendance policies. There should be no barriers preventing compliance completion on time. Candidates must pass a required EKG exam prior to employment. Travelers may be floated as necessary to different units. Candidates should have experience with various patient conditions commonly seen in emergency settings. Skill in managing complex procedures and conditions is essential. Knowledge of emergency interventions and patient care protocols is critical. Candidates should be prepared to manage high patient volumes and diverse cases. Preferred experience includes prior charge nurse duties and trauma care. The role will involve participation in weekend and holiday shifts as needed. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams is expected. Daily patient interactions will vary in acuity and complexity. Ongoing education and training may be required.
