Leapros Skilled Trades is actively hiring Accounting Manager in Irvine, CA. The Accounting Manager will oversee the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements, ensuring strict adherence to U.S. GAAP standards and internal controls. This role requires a technical accounting expert who can manage complex transactions, lead audit processes, and partner with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and financial efficiency.

Annual Salary: $115,000 to $150,000 Annually BOE

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and coordinate quarterly and annual financial statements, including all supporting schedules and disclosures.
• Prepare and review complex journal entries, account reconciliations, and detailed financial analyses.
• Serve as the primary liaison with external auditors to support the annual audit process.
• Develop and enhance corporate accounting policies, procedures, and internal control frameworks.
• Apply technical accounting expertise to revenue recognition, lease accounting, cost capitalization, and asset impairments.
• Manage accounting activities related to equity and debt transactions as well as business development efforts.
• Conduct in-depth technical accounting research and provide guidance on ad hoc projects.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to identify, communicate, and mitigate financial risks.
• Contribute to continuous process improvements, automation initiatives, and cost-efficiency strategies.

Qualifications:

• Strong technical knowledge of U.S. GAAP, specifically including ASC 606 and ASC 842.
• Proven experience in financial statement preparation and coordination within a professional environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in cost capitalization, asset impairments, and technical accounting research.
• Ability to manage complex accounting for equity and debt transactions.
• Experience developing and maintaining internal controls and formal accounting policies.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify financial risks and opportunities.
• Proficiency in leveraging technology for process automation and accounting efficiency.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with stakeholders and external audit teams.

Physical Requirements:

• Regularly required to sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone for prolonged periods.
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision for extensive computer-based work.
• May occasionally be required to stand, walk, reach, stoop, or kneel.
• Light lifting of office materials up to 15 pounds may be required on occasion.

Pay Transparency:

The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $115,000 to $150,000 annually, based on relevant factors such as experience, skills, education, internal equity, and geographic location. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process by the hiring authority.
