Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Onsite | Every other weekend and holiday coverage as needed | No call required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care across all age groups in a high-acuity emergency department setting
• Manage and care for special populations including cancer patients, sepsis, medical emergencies, and behavioral health
• Support STEMI and stroke response protocols within a designated STEMI and Stroke facility
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams across specialties including cath lab, women's health, and stroke care
• Float to other campus locations within the health system as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license – must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications required
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records required
• STEMI and Stroke facility experience required
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (no local candidates accepted); valid driver's license required to confirm address

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience caring for behavioral health patients in an emergency setting
• Familiarity with cath lab or women's health support workflows
• Travel nursing experience welcomed; first-time travelers are encouraged to apply
