Lead Inventory Control at Bausch & Lomb’s Woodruff, SC Distribution CenterPicture your day: you walk the floor of our Woodruff, SC distribution center, touch base with inventory analysts, and align priorities across Consumer and Pharmaceutical product lines. You verify yesterday’s cycle counts, approve adjustments, and prepare today’s audit plan. A call with our 3PL follows to resolve a variance on pharmaceutical stock, then you pivot to month-end prep—consolidating data from PeopleSoft, SAP, and Blue Yonder (JDA) into one authoritative dataset. By afternoon, you’re reviewing GS1 shipping label compliance, closing out reconciliation tasks, and transforming freight and distribution data into clear, actionable metrics for leadership.Your scopeOwn inventory governance for Bausch & Lomb’s Consumer products at the Woodruff, SC distribution center and oversee pharmaceutical inventory activities executed at a 3PL.Direct daily inventory routines: cycle counts, audits, adjustments, and reconciliations, with strict adherence to B+L Inventory Management Policy and applicable procedures, regulations, and laws.Develop and refine inventory control procedures; partner cross-functionally to keep warehouse operations running smoothly.Analyze inventory and logistics data to spot trends and discrepancies; perform statistical analysis to optimize transportation lanes and distribution activity across the U.S.Compile data from PeopleSoft, Blue Yonder (JDA), SAP, and other sources into a master dataset; produce periodic distribution and freight summaries by site, carrier, and freight forwarder.Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end inventory close procedures and reporting.Review shipping labels for GS1 and B+L distribution compliance; directly manage audit and information requests from PwC, EV, and other relevant agencies.Ensure Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) controls and internal controls are followed; uphold safety standards at all times.Lead, coach, and develop inventory control staff; support the Distribution Center Site Lead, Logistics Sr. Manager, and Sr. Director, North America Logistics on distribution and transportation projects.Coordinate product destructions and donations for Consumer and Pharmaceutical finished goods stored at the distribution center.Troubleshoot and resolve inventory variances at 3PL distribution centers; assist other sites with inventory investigations.Directly correct system variances in PeopleSoft, JDA/Blue Yonder; partner with IT when elevated access or expertise is required.Perform other related duties as assigned.What you’ll bringBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.Minimum 5 years of inventory management experience (pharmaceutical or consumer goods preferred) and 1+ year in a supervisory role.Strong analytical mindset, exceptional attention to detail, and proficiency with inventory management software.Proven people leadership with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.Outstanding professional communication skills; adept at partnering with Sales, QA, IT, Supply Chain, and management stakeholders.Hands-on ERP data management experience with PeopleSoft or SAP (required); WMS experience with Blue Yonder (JDA) preferred.Proficiency in Microsoft SQL and experience building or using Power BI reports.Proactive problem-solver; comfortable navigating complex challenges in a healthcare industry context.Where you’ll workOn-site leadership of the B+L distribution center in Woodruff, South Carolina, with oversight of pharmaceutical inventory activities at a third-party logistics provider.Ready to lead?If orchestrating accurate, compliant, and efficient inventory operations energizes you, we’d love to meet you. #J-18808-Ljbffr Torrey Holistics
