Description

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with 2+ years of experience and strong Siemens equipment proficiency for a 13-week evening shift assignment.

Details

• Hospital-based MRI department serving adult and pediatric patients
• Adult Acute Care, Adult ICU, Adult Outpatient, ER/Trauma, Pediatric Acute Care, and Pediatric Outpatient settings
• Wide range of imaging including abdomen/pelvis, head and neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, and cardiovascular MR studies
• Special imaging procedures including MRA, MRV, MRCP, diffusion imaging, and gradient echo imaging
• Equipment includes Siemens, GE, Philips, and PACS systems
• Evening shift, Monday-Friday, 5x8 hours from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM
• On-call required every other week from Friday end of shift through Monday at 7:00 AM

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of MRI Technologist experience required
• ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required
• BLS certification required
• Strong Siemens equipment experience strongly preferred
• Cerner charting experience preferred
• Experience with contrast media preparation/administration and peripheral IV starts
• License required if applicable
• Skills checklist and two supervisor references from within the last 3 years required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform a wide range of MRI procedures across multiple anatomical regions and specialties
• Isolation precautions and PPE protocols followed as part of daily duties
• RTO must be submitted with candidate profile and some holiday coverage should be expected
• Facility conducts its own on-site drug screen, including marijuana; a positive result results in automatic cancellation
• Pending license accepted with submission but must be active before start date
• Local candidates not accepted; must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
