Ambulatory Float Pool Nurse - Faulkner

Site Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital, Inc. Job Summary Schedule: 36 hours per week, combination of 9 and 12 hour shifts. As a member of our Ambulatory Float team, you will be exposed to Endoscopy, Outpatient Infusion, Pain Management, and Interventional Radiology/Nephrology. You will coordinate and provide all aspects of nursing care before, during, and after procedures, and collaborate with all disciplines to achieve defined patient outcomes. The Registered Nurse is a professional nurse registered in Massachusetts who is responsible and accountable for planning and providing patient care for assigned patients in accordance with Nursing Standards of Care as set forth in the Nursing Department's Clinical Practice Manual. The registered nurse demonstrates initiative, knowledge, and clinical skills in caring for patients with complex needs, assumes full responsibility for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care, and is directly responsible to a designated nurse manager or supervisor. The Staff Nurse also assures the practice of the Patient and Family Centered Care Model in an environment that exemplifies best practice.
