We are looking for a dependable Data Entry Clerk to support a short-term Contract assignment in Sumner, Washington. This role is focused on helping the team reduce a backlog and entering accurate records into company systems. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working with basic Excel files, and able to maintain steady productivity in an onsite environment with supervisor support.
Responsibilities:
• Review revenue and cost information for completeness and accuracy before entering it into internal systems
• Transfer data from Excel spreadsheets into the operating platform with a high level of precision
• Process large volumes of numeric and text-based information while meeting daily productivity expectations
• Identify missing, inconsistent, or unclear entries and escalate issues to onsite leads when needed
• Maintain organized records and follow established procedures to support backlog reduction efforts
• Use basic Microsoft Excel functions such as opening, reviewing, sorting, and updating spreadsheets as part of daily work
• Previous experience in data entry or similar administrative support work• Strong attention to detail with the ability to enter information accurately
• Reliable attendance and consistent performance throughout the assignment
• Comfortable working with numeric data and high-volume keyboard entry
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including navigating and reviewing spreadsheets without advanced formulas
• General computer skills and the ability to learn internal data entry systems quickly
