Labor And Delivery Rn

The labor and delivery rn will provide comprehensive care to mothers and newborns in a supportive and family-centered environment. The ideal candidate will be skilled in labor, delivery, recovery, and triage, with a focus on patient preferences and emergency response protocols.

Responsibilities:

Assume primary responsibility for laboring and delivering patients.
Provide nursing care during antepartum, labor, delivery, and postpartum stages.
Assist with c-sections and post-operative care.
Offer breastfeeding support and initial care for newborns.
Monitor fetal heart rates and other vital signs using provided equipment.

Required experience / certifications / licensure:

Current rn license.
Intermediate fetal heart monitoring experience within the last 2 years.
Labor and delivery experience required.
Current nrp and bls certifications.
Preferred experience at facilities with 3,000+ births per year.
