Packaging Associate

Position Overview Packaging Technician – Vonore, TN – $18.00 per hour (Day Shift 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, Night Shift 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM). This role supports packaging operations, production activities, material handling and warehouse functions while maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient work environment. Employees will work a rotating schedule that provides a 3-day weekend every other weekend. Key Responsibilities Operate and support assigned packaging and production equipment. Maintain knowledge of equipment, processes, and safety procedures. Assist with receiving and unloading incoming materials. Prepare products for shipment by packing, wrapping and staging materials. Move, organize, and store materials throughout the facility. Assist with inventory counts and maintain accurate records. Perform basic equipment inspections and preventative maintenance tasks. Maintain a clean and organized production area. Follow all safety procedures and quality standards. Work with team members to meet daily production goals. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Experience with packaging, equipment operation, material handling, or warehouse operations preferred. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Dependable, reliable, and able to work well in a team environment. Basic computer skills and data entry experience preferred. Ability to work a 12-hour rotating shift schedule. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend and perform physical tasks throughout the shift. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally. Ability to wear required personal protective equipment, including safety glasses, hearing protection and other safety equipment.
