Travel Or Cvor Registered Nurse (Rn) - Surgery Open HeartWe are seeking an experienced Travel Or Cvor Registered Nurse (Rn) to join our team for a 13-week assignment. This role primarily focuses on providing care in the surgical setting for open heart procedures.Key ResponsibilitiesFunction as the primary circulator in the operating room for open heart surgery.Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient care throughout procedures.Monitor and assess patient conditions before, during, and after surgical interventions.Provide patient education and support to families regarding surgical procedures and care plans.Maintain sterile environments and adhere to safety protocols at all times.ScheduleThis position requires a day shift from 6:45 Am to 3:15 Pm. Call may be required during weeknights and weekends. Note that block scheduling is not available and there are blackout dates during the week of Christmas.QualificationsCurrent Registered Nurse (Rn) licensure in Indiana.Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (Acs) and Basic Life Support (Bls) is required.A minimum of 2 years of experience in open heart procedures is essential.Proficiency with electronic medical records (Emr), specifically Cerner, is preferred.Additional InformationThe unit consists of 12 beds, with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:1 to ensure quality care.The designated scrub color for this position is surgical blue.Client Details City Valparaiso State In
