This involves administrative and field tasks per established industry practices, procedures, and regulatory and Bechtel requirements. The position requires practical application of occupational safety and related disciplines for managing environmental, safety and health aspects of a project or facility. The position reports to the Field Safety Manager and coordinates with the Area Construction Manager. #LI-AE2 Major Responsibilities: Perform assignments addressing major safety and health concerns, applying expert judgment, scientific and best practice methodologies to develop strategies that minimize potential negative impacts. Interpret requirements and provide technical assistance within ESH teams and to other project groups regarding risk and hazard assessment, plan preparation, and ESH program execution. Research issues and regulatory requirements, perform studies and risk assessments, and prepare documentation and reports. Implement the project Safety and Health Management Plan, associated plans and procedures, and training program.
