Location:

• Pocahontas, Iowa

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
• Some weekends required

Duration:

• 13+ weeks

Responsibilities:

• Perform Long Term Care pharmacist duties ensuring safe and effective medication management.
• Dispense medications accurately and counsel patients and healthcare providers.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and policies.

Qualifications:

• Current Iowa Pharmacist License or Iowa Temporary License.
• Immunization certification preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Experience in retail pharmacy or specialty pharmacy settings, with strong knowledge of pharmacy operations.
• PharmD degree preferred.
