This position plays a vital role in maintaining the safety of the building.Supervisory Responsibilities:Recruit, interview, hire, and train direct reportsOversee the work and assignments of direct reportsProvide constructive and timely performance feedbackHandle discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policyDuties/Responsibilities:Maintain facilities including but not limited to updating seating charts, office signage, maintaining meeting and breakrooms, and HVAC controls administration.Handle vendor management, invoicing, purchasing, and approvals.Create an annual budget for Corporate Facilities.Process and respond to JIRA Tickets.Administer and provide reporting on access control system including maintaining office keying system.Safety coordination and circulate employee education and information.Oversee offsite storage administrationMaintain quarterly building inspection logs.Run, deliver and analyze various facilities-related reports and metrics.Workstation and office assignment and reconfiguration.Travel to other offices (San Diego and Milpitas) for periodic inspections.Coordinate vendor needs when handling special projects.Must be available to stay onsite when anticipating and handling an emergency response.Skills and Competencies:Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to interact clearly and concisely with all departments and levels of managementExcellent organizational skills with attention-to-detailAbility to meet multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environmentAbility to effectively manage time and prioritize tasksAbility to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentialityProficiency with Microsoft OfficeFamiliarity with NetSuiteUnderstanding of Building Operating SystemsWillingness and ability to handle emergency calls 24/7Must be self-motivated, flexible, and energetic, ready to change gears quicklyStrong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skillsAbility to motivate and lead teams to achieve objectives and service levels to the highest standardsExcellent planning and decision-making skillsEducation, Experience, and Licenses/Certifications:High School diploma or GED-equivalentAssociate's degree a plus3-5 years of experience in facility managementPhysical Requirements:Willingness and ability to travel as neededWillingness and ability to work after regularly scheduled hours as neededAbility to sit at a desk for prolonged periods working on a computer (4 to 8 hours)Ability to operate the equipment used for the jobReasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this jobAbility to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and climbing laddersAbility to lift 75 pounds at timesMarginal Functions:A review of this job description may have omitted some of the marginal functions of the position that are incidental to the performance of the job duties and responsibilities.
