Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a comprehensive range of ultrasound examinations, including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging

• Work hand-in-hand with radiologists and referring practitioners to deliver superior diagnostic imagery
• Manage and maintain ultrasound equipment efficiently, promptly reporting any technical issues
• Ensure meticulous documentation of procedures and electronic patient records
• Keep abreast of the latest advances in ultrasound procedures and best practices to enhance care delivery

Education Requirements

• A degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a similar field (Associate's or Bachelor's)
• Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent body
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
