Responsibilities

Prepare and dispense medications prescribed to members of the health plan

Verify insurance information, process prescription claims, and communicate with insurance providers to ensure proper reimbursement

Interact with members of the health plan, providing assistance and answering questions

Track medication histories and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Support the efficient and safe functioning of the pharmacy within a health plan, contributing to the overall quality of care provided to members.

Required Qualifications

Active Pharmacy Technician License/Certificate

1 year experience as a pharmacy technician
