General Information

This unit is equipped with a total of 3 MRI machines and typically accommodates a patient volume averaging 32 exams per day. Staffing includes 3 technologists during the day shift and 2 during the night shift. The department specializes in utilizing GE equipment and operates with electronic medical records (EMR) through Meditech/CPN.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

A minimum of 6 months of current MRI Technologist experience
BLS certification
ARRT (MR) certification

Preferred Skills:

Experience with GE equipment
Experience in a Level 1 trauma setting
Critical care experience

Responsibilities

Administer contrast agents as needed
Operate MRI scanners to produce high-quality images

Personality and Fit

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, engaged, and easy to collaborate with. Patient care experience is highly valued in this role.

Additional Information

This is a busy MRI department featuring two new GE Artist machines, supported by a dedicated team that values effective collaboration.
