Senior Application Engineer, ETO Low Voltage

What will you do:The Senior Application Engineer, ETO LVMCC role exists to bring strong technical product knowledge and customer application understanding into quotation development for engineered opportunities. The position supports product application definition, technical risk identification, and cross-functional alignment, while helping build stronger processes, inputs, and documentation for future-state ETO quotation support. Work on complex customer opportunities involving custom and engineered low voltage motor control center solutions. Apply technical product and application knowledge to shape practical, competitive, and executable solutions. Partner across engineering, manufacturing, procurement, pricing, and tender teams to improve quotation quality. Help define how the role evolves as ETO quotation support capability grows over time. Key Responsibilities Support complex customer projects involving custom and engineered low voltage motor control center applications, providing technical guidance on product application, equipment layout, and configuration. Review customer specifications, one-lines, bills of material, drawings, and related technical documentation to define scope and quotation requirements. Partner with Project Engineering and other cross-functional teams to develop practical, competitive, and executable solutions. Support technical and commercial quotation inputs, including responses to application questions, pricing, lead-time, and cost inputs for non-standard or engineered scope. Initiate feasibility reviews and escalate technical, application, or standards-related questions when customer requirements fall outside standard offerings or ETO design delegations. As the role evolves, work with transformation and cross-functional teams to strengthen quotation speed, consistency, and execution readiness. Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to improve quotation quality based on quote assumptions, estimates, and project outcomes.What qualifications will make you successful?Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a related technical field. Experience in application engineering, low voltage equipment design, quotation support, estimating, ETO engineering, manufacturing cost analysis, or related technical work. Strong ability to interpret customer specifications, one-lines, drawings, bills of material, and overall technical scope. Knowledge of low voltage motor control center design, installation, and use. Ability to support technical discussions related to customer applications, custom configurations, and engineered solutions. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, with attention to detail. Ability to work across functions and manage priorities in a deadline-driven environment. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our pay ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level.
