Who you are As an Equity Research Analyst I with Frost, you believe in the importance of details. In this role, you will be responsible for researching and analyzing equity securities across various industries. You will use your investigative skills and observant mindset to generate investment reports and assist senior level staff with monitoring and analyzing financial market trends. What you’ll do Conduct thorough research and analysis of equity securities within publicly traded companies across various sectors and industries Evaluate financial statements, earnings reports, and other relevant data to assess the financial health, growth prospects, and valuation of target companies Generate clear and concise investment reports, research notes, and presentations that communicate analysis, findings, and recommendations to portfolio managers, team members, and marketing Assist senior level staff by monitoring and analyzing financial market trends, economic indicators, and industry developments to identify potential investment opportunities and risks Utilize Bloomberg, Intex, and/or Factset modeling systems to monitor detailed security and portfolio analytics that track investment performance and asset characteristics over time Contribute to the general asset review and analysis as a member of a team, ensuring investment quality adheres to advisor, regulatory and client‑specified requirements Always take action using integrity, caring, and excellence to achieve all‑win outcomes What you’ll need Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field Proficient in Microsoft computer applications Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience with investment analysis Series 65/66 or the ability to obtain within six months Started the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) process Proficiency in FactSet, Bloomberg, or other financial modeling applications Our Benefits Medical, dental, vision, long‑term disability, and life insurance 401(k) matching Generous holiday and paid time off schedule Tuition reimbursement Extensive health and wellness programs, including our Employee Assistance Program Referral bonus program Since 1868, Frost has dedicated their expertise to provide exceptional banking, investment, and insurance services to businesses and individuals throughout Texas.
