Lab Technician III

We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a Lab Technician III for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Clark, NJ 07066. Details of the position are as follows:
Job Details:
- Pay: $35/hr to Start!!
- 6-month assignment, possibility for extension or conversion based on performance and budget.
- Monday - Friday 8:30AM start time 1st shift
- Position will be mainly responsible for assisting with packaging testing for new product launches, formula renovations, and packaging changes.
- Position will also be responsible for performing hands-on laboratory testing, including drop testing, decoration testing, sample filling, and sample evaluation.
- Position will also create testing templates, record and document data, and communicate test results to the appropriate teams.
- Position will also support e-commerce testing by filling, sorting, and evaluating finished goods while assisting the team based on project priorities.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Material Science, Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Packaging, or a related field is Required!
- Prior hands-on laboratory experience, including academic, internship, or professional lab experience, is Required!
- Experience with packaging testing for new product launches, formula renovations, or packaging changes is Preferred!
- Hands-on experience with packaging test methods such as drop testing, decoration testing, sample filling, and sample/packaging fit evaluation is Preferred!
- Experience with e-commerce testing, filling, and sorting finished goods, or supporting packaging changes is Preferred!
