Ultrasound Technologist (Diagnostic Medical Sonographer)

Join the team as an Ultrasound Technologist (Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) where you will operate specialized ultrasound equipment to produce diagnostic-quality images used by physicians to diagnose and treat medical conditions. This opportunity is located in Smyrna, TN at a hospital setting. You will collaborate with radiology staff to ensure patient safety, maintain image quality, and contribute to efficient departmental workflow.

Minimum Requirements:

• National certification in a relevant specialty from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Experience working in a hospital radiology department or similar acute care environment.
• Demonstrated proficiency with general ultrasound examinations and equipment operation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced sonography credentials or specialty certifications (abdominal, OB/GYN, vascular) preferred.
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and PACS.

Assignment Details

• Shift start window: 06:3007:00.
• Specific weekly schedule includes Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday (per internal notes).
• May require flexibility to cover varying hours consistent with hospital radiology needs.
