Kettering Health Soin Registered Nurse (RN) ResourceThe Registered Nurse (RN) Resource 480 delivers patient-centered nursing care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care in collaboration with the healthcare team. This role ensures the safety, quality, and continuity of care for patients across diverse clinical settings, supporting optimal patient outcomes and compliance with regulatory standards. Performs other duties as assigned. All job responsibilities are to be carried out in alignment with Kettering Health's mission, vision, values, and B Safe program.Required Education:Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate Degree in Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing).Required Work Experience:None requiredclinical experience during nursing program accepted.Required Licenses, Certifications, and Registrations:Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Ohio. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.Skills:Proficiency in patient assessment, care planning, and clinical documentationeffective verbal and written communicationproficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systemsstrong critical thinking and problem-solving abilitiesability to prioritize and manage multiple patient assignmentsability to collaborate within interdisciplinary care teamscommitment to patient safety, confidentiality, and infection control standardsknowledge of HIPAA and regulatory requirements.Competencies:Nursing competencies are based on ACHC standards or department specific needs/specialtiesPreferred QualificationsPreferred Education:Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).Preferred Work Experience:One year of clinical nursing experience in an acute care or relevant specialty setting.Preferred Licenses, Certifications, and Registrations:Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or specialty certification applicable to clinical area.
