Food Scientist

Our client, a leading organization in the food industry, is seeking a Food Scientist to join their team. As a Food Scientist, you will be part of the Product Development Department supporting flavor and application teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Food Scientist Location: Beloit, WI Pay Range: $33.65 Shift: 1st What's the Job? Build, maintain, and improve a standard Taste portfolio that is technically accurate and application-relevant. Engage in hands-on product immersion, routine tasting, and application exposure to develop practical product knowledge. Partner closely with flavorists, seasoning developers, and application teams to ensure product performance across various applications. Capture and document product knowledge, including application fit, sensory profile, and usage guidance for easy reference. Lead collection readiness activities, including data validation, product evaluation, and portfolio updates to ensure readiness and accuracy. What's Needed? Minimum of 0 years of experience in a related field. Strong tasting and sensory evaluation skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
