Senior Communications Specialist

Akamai's Cloud Technology Group (CTG) is a large, matrixed organization that works collaboratively in a fast‑moving environment that values curiosity and innovation. Responsibilities Shape and deliver internal communications strategies for key CTG initiatives. Translate complex topics into clear, actionable messages for diverse audiences and channels. Advise stakeholders on effective messaging and build self‑service communications resources for employees. Manage the end‑to‑end delivery of content and logistics for quarterly All Hands meetings. Co‑lead an employee advisory group designed to bridge the gap between communication strategy and employee experience. Pilot AI tools to improve team efficiency and discover creative ways to scale impact. Participate in Akamai's Global Communications Network to drive alignment and information sharing across the global organization. Qualifications Five years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent. Solid business writing skills with the ability to adapt tone and format for different audiences and channels. Proficient experience and knowledge with Google Workspace (Google Slides, Docs, and Sheets) or equivalent. Interest in connecting internal communications strategies to organizational performance. Ability to take ownership of projects and manage multiple priorities to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment. Dedication to teamwork, comfortable working with stakeholders at all levels in a large, complex, and cross‑functional organization. Compensation Akamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For United States based candidates only, the base salary for this position ranges from $83,200 to $149,800 per year. Compensation may also include incentive compensation in the form of an annual bonus or incentives, equity awards, and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
