We're committed to delivering products that help the world breathe easier, live greener, and go further than ever before.With over 60 manufacturing facilities and a global workforce of over 9,000, we're always looking for top talent ready to grow with us.Duties and ResponsibilitiesResponsible for moving materials around the facility using a fork truckFollowing all safety factors, speed requirements, and proper handling of materialsPerforming product operation set-ups as instructed through operation set-up sheets, plant work orders, and quality plansDocumenting all production and quality data as instructedOrganizing and cleaning work area daily to ensure efficiency and safetyCleaning equipment as instructed by supervisorTraining new employeesAssisting maintenance staff in the repair and troubleshooting of equipmentPerforming PM as scheduled and documenting as instructedObserving all safety rules and regulations and advising supervision of any safety issuesPerforming all other duties as directed by supervisionOtherAdhering to all company and location policies and safety rulesBeing able to work extended hours when requiredAll other duties as assignedQualificationsHigh school diploma, GED or equivalent experienceForklift experience is mandatoryMinimum of 1+ years manufacturing desired but not requiredAttention to detailGood math and reading skillsAbility to follow directions and specificationsAbility to lift 50-lbs regularlyAbility to push or pullAvailable to work 12-hour shift and overtime as neededCompetenciesCustomer focusDrive for resultsCreative problem solvingInterpersonal relationshipsCommunicationAccountabilityDrive a fork truck in tight indoor spacesIf you are interested in being part of a world class function here at Alkegen, we would love to hear from you.At Alkegen, we strive every day to help people breathe easier, live greener and go further than ever before.
