Warehouse Associate

Responsibilities: Compiles and maintains records of quantity, type, and value of material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies stocked in establishment by performing the following duties: Counts material in stock and posts totals to inventory records. Compares actual inventories to records in Metalware. Adjusts errors in computation or count and/or investigates and reports reasons for discrepancies. Employees must be willing to assist in other areas of operations as needed Qualifications: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or One-year certificate from college or technical school Experience in metals industry is preferred Effective communication skills which include verbal and written in English Basic computer skills are necessary Must have experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word Willingness to learn mainframe program (internal computer system) Ability to read a tape measure, micrometer, or other measuring device Willingness to learn to operate forklift/side loader and such along with cutting equipment Knowledge of basic math skills Physical Demands: Physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
