Service Manager

Position Overview Jupiter Supper Club is looking for an experienced and hands-on Service Manager to join our Front of House leadership team. This is a hybrid hospitality role designed for someone who enjoys both leading a team and actively working service. The position will include approximately 2 3 shifts per week as Service Manager, with additional shifts scheduled as a Bartender or Server, depending on experience and business needs. The ideal candidate has a strong background in restaurant service, previous leadership or management experience, and experience behind the bar and/or serving in a full-service environment. Late-night and closing availability is required. Service Manager Responsibilities When scheduled as Service Manager, you will: Act as Manager on Duty and oversee Front of House operations during assigned shifts Lead and support the FOH team throughout service Conduct pre-shift meetings and communicate reservations, events, menu updates, and service expectations Maintain an active presence on the floor and ensure consistent execution of service standards Monitor the overall guest experience and handle guest concerns and service recovery Coordinate communication between the floor, bar, hosts, kitchen, and support teams Manage sections, breaks, cuts, and overall flow of service Coach team members in real time and provide clear, professional feedback Ensure opening and closing procedures, side work, and cleanliness standards are completed Support special events, private events, and high-volume services Ensure compliance with company policies, TABC requirements, and responsible alcohol service standards Complete closing procedures and remain on-site until the restaurant and team are fully closed out Communicate significant service, staffing, guest, or operational issues to the management team Server / Bartender Shifts In addition to management shifts, the Service Manager will work scheduled shifts as a Server or Bartender as part of the regular FOH team. During these shifts, the Service Manager will perform the standard responsibilities of the position scheduled and participate in the applicable tip structure. Qualifications Previous restaurant management, supervisory, shift lead, or Manager on Duty experience required Strong serving and/or bartending background required Experience in a full-service, upscale, craft cocktail, or high-volume environment preferred Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment Reliable, punctual, and comfortable taking ownership of a shift Must have evening, weekend, and late-night availability Must be available to regularly work closing shifts TABC and Food Handler certifications required or must be obtained prior to starting A Timeless Luxe Culinary Experience #J-18808-Ljbffr Workstream
