Responsibilities

Test Automation (Primary Focus)
• Develop, maintain, and optimize automated test suites for Android and iOS.
• Implement automation using:
 Java
 Appium
 Appium MCP Server
 Android Studio
 Xcode
 IntelliJ
• Integrate automated tests into AI-assisted testing workflows and MCP
infrastructures.
• Improve existing frameworks, including POM, abstractions, and test runners.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines:
 Jenkins
 Git (branching, pull request reviews, and code reviews).
• Reduce test flakiness and improve execution stability.
• Analyze pipeline results and investigate failures.
Manual Testing
• Analyze requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Create and execute manual tests, including functional, regression, and exploratory
testing.
• Validate functionality on real devices and across multiple operating system
versions.
• Report defects in JIRA and track them through resolution.
Analysis & Investigation
• Perform root-cause analyses for defects and automated test failures.
• Correlate mobile behavior with potential backend or API issues.
• Collaborate closely with Development and DevOps teams to ensure efficient triage.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in test automation or QA engineering.
• Strong programming knowledge in Java.
• Advanced experience with:
 Appium
 Appium MCP Server
 MCP Servers and AI-driven integrations
 Android Studio, Xcode, and IntelliJ
 Maven/Gradle
 API – REST Assured
• Experience with AI-assisted testing workflows or LLM-based testing workflows.
• Strong knowledge of the SDLC, testing methodologies, and mobile testing for
Android and iOS.
• Experience with CI/CD projects using Jenkins and Git.
• Experience with test management tools such as Zephyr, TestRail, or similar.
Strong English language knowledge

Nice to have

• Experience with:
 API testing using Insomnia
 SQL
 Log analysis using Kibana and Splunk
 Testing on simulators, emulators, and device labs
• Familiarity with:
 MCP Server architecture
 AI-based tools for testing and debugging
 SonarQube and Confluence
• Experience defining quality standards and code quality gates.
