Schedule: Typically 1 Week On, 2 Weeks Off (Flexible) | 5-20 Shifts Per Month

About the Opportunity

A hospital system in Seattle, WA is seeking fellowship-trained Radiologists for locum tenens coverage across several subspecialties, including nuclear medicine, neuroradiology, emergency radiology, and abdominal imaging. The group has a high number of open shifts and can accommodate a range of availability, with a minimum of 5 shifts per month and up to 20.

Most openings are day shifts, with some evening, afternoon float, and overnight coverage available depending on the subspecialty. Shift times are flexible. Typical read volume is around 30 RVUs per shift, which varies with case mix and day. This is a read-only role with no procedures or treatments.

Responsibilities

• Interpret diagnostic imaging studies in your subspecialty (nuclear medicine, neuro, emergency, or abdominal)
• Provide timely, accurate reads and reports to referring clinicians
• Consult with ordering providers and care teams as needed
• Read on average around 30 RVUs per shift, depending on volume
• Work within the hospital’s PACS and Epic environment
• Follow departmental protocols, quality standards, and regulatory requirements

Requirements

• Fellowship training in your subspecialty required
• Board Certified in Radiology (candidates certifying during credentialing may be considered if certification will be complete by the start date)
• Active Washington state license, or willingness to obtain one
• Epic EMR experience
• Infinity PACS experience preferred

Schedule Details

• 1 week on, 2 weeks off (flexible)
• 5-20 shifts per month, with a 5-shift minimum
• Mostly day shifts, with some evening, afternoon float, and overnight options depending on subspecialty
• Shift times flexible
• Onsite coverage; travel covered
