As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with customers, employees, and visitors while responding to security-related concerns. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $28.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon 06:00 PM - 04:00 AM Wed 06:00 PM - 04:00 AM Sun 05:00 PM - 01:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, customers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail store, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions. Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity to help deter theft, unauthorized entry, and other security-related concerns. Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 21 years of age. Possess at least five years of security-related experience. Possess at least four years of military or law enforcement experience or a criminal justice degree. Loss prevention experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
