Medical Director, Hematology/Oncology | Northern New Jersey
Step into a pivotal leadership role where you have the rare chance to build an entire oncology and infusion program from the ground up. This position is designed for a visionary Hematologist/Oncologist who wants to bridge the gap between high-level clinical care and strategic program development. - Protected Leadership Time: Balance your week with a 0.6 clinical and 0.4 administrative split, ensuring you have the dedicated time needed for workflow design, EHR optimization, and program building.
- Comprehensive Clinical Infrastructure: Lead a multidisciplinary team including infusion nursing leadership, pharmacy experts specializing in sterile compounding, and dedicated operational partners to manage scheduling and throughput.
- Full Program Autonomy: Drive the expansion of a new infusion center supporting not only oncology and chemotherapy but also biologic therapies for gastroenterology and rheumatology.
- Advanced Technology Integration: Partner directly with an implementation team to build and optimize oncology-specific workflows within Epic Beacon.
Candidate Requirements
- Board Certification or Eligibility in Hematology and Oncology.
- A proven interest or background in program development and system leadership.
