Contract (13 Weeks) | 3x12-Hour Midday Shifts (11:00 AM – 11:00 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Scrub and/or circulate for a wide variety of general OR cases including trauma, urology, podiatry, orthopedics, plastics, neurology, gynecology, endoscopy, ENT, thoracic, vascular, cardiac, and bariatric procedures
• Assist with and support DaVinci robotic surgical procedures
• Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio caring for adult and geriatric populations within a Level II Trauma Center environment
• Participate in rotational weekend coverage and on-call shifts, including weekday, weeknight, and 24-hour weekend on-call assignments; must be available to arrive on-site within 30 minutes of being called in
• Float within the OR specialty and to a sister campus as departmental needs require
• Document accurately and efficiently using Epic EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in Maryland or a valid Compact RN license at time of submission
• Minimum of 3 years of Operating Room RN experience (candidates with 2 years of strong, relevant OR experience may be considered)
• Demonstrated ability to both scrub and circulate in general OR cases
• Hands-on experience with DaVinci robotic surgical procedures
• BLS certification (American Heart Association only)
• Proficiency with Epic EMR

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification (American Heart Association only)
• Experience in a Level II Trauma Center setting
• Exposure to a broad multi-specialty OR caseload including thoracic, vascular, cardiac, and bariatric procedures
