Locum Tenens Opportunity At St. Francis Hospital & Franciscan Women's Health Federal Way
St. Francis Hospital & Franciscan Women's Health Federal Way is looking for a locum to work three clinic shifts and one call shift per week in-house. Rates are $350/hour and below for Tier 1 and $351-$375/hour for Tier 2. Shift time is 8:00am-4:45pm for clinic and 7a-7a for call in house. The schedule requires three clinic and one call shift per week. The site can be flexible on which weeks the locum is available. Start is as soon as credentialed and the duration is 3-6 months. The facility is located at St. Francis Hospital & Franciscan Women's Health Federal Way, which operates in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The full-time equivalent (FTE) is 1.0. Duties include 60-70% obstetrics (OB) to 30-40% gynecology (Gyn). The OB mix includes high risk and low risk patients, including diabetics, hypertension, advanced maternal age, and multiples up to twins (higher order goes to another facility). There is a large diversity with many different languages spoken by patients in the office. Gyn duties include annuals, abnormal uterine bleeding (AUB), birth control, and surgery consults for fibroids, AUB, and polyps. The office performs its own cesarean sections (circs) and a provider could do them if they would like. Ultrasound services are provided by a sonographer in the office, who does early OB dating scans, position checks at 35-36 weeks, and basic Gyn (IUD position check, occasional fibroids, etc). The facility reads its own ultrasounds on call days, but locums in clinic would likely not be reading US. Certification requirements include BLS and DEA. State license requirements are Washington.
