Job Title: API IIB Software Engineer

Location: Remote

Duration: 6 Months

Responsibilities:

• As a Custom Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing custom software solutions to design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications.
• Master proficiency in IBM Integration Bus is required. Expert proficiency in IBM API Connect is recommended.
• Expert proficiency in API Development is suggested.
• Define integration architecture, patterns, and standards Develop complex integration solutions using ACE message flows, ESQL, Java Compute Design and manage APIs in IBM API Connect Implement API lifecycle management (design publish secure monitor) Automate API lifecycle using APIC CLI (apic) Define and enforce API governance, versioning, and security policies Build reusable templates and frameworks for integrations DevOps Solution Design : YAML pipelines for ACE and APIC ( Nice to have Azure DevOps) Applications support, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• You will use modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs.
• You are expected to be a subject matter expert, collaborate and manage the team to perform effectively, take responsibility for team decisions, engage with multiple teams, and contribute to key decisions.
