Technical Recruiter

Waltonen is actively seeking a Technical Recruiter to join our Human Resources team. The Technical Recruiter will be responsible for full-cycle recruiting of specialized technical and professional talent supporting Waltonen's automotive, aerospace, defense, tooling, manufacturing, engineering, automation, robotics, IT, and other related business services. Responsibilities: Manage full-cycle recruiting from requisition intake through offer acceptance. Partner with hiring managers to understand technical requirements and develop effective recruiting strategies. Source active and passive candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, professional networks, referrals, career fairs, and other recruiting channels. Recruit for specialized positions including designers, CAD professionals, robotic simulation, system layout, BIW/tooling processors, tooling and manufacturing professionals, IT, project/program management, engineering, and defense product design. Develop and maintain talent pipelines for hard-to-fill technical positions. Review resumes and conduct initial interviews to evaluate technical experience, qualifications, communication skills, and overall fit. Develop an understanding of technical disciplines, software platforms, manufacturing processes, and industry terminology to effectively identify qualified candidates. Coordinate interviews and maintain communication with candidates throughout the hiring process. Work closely with hiring managers to provide candidate feedback, recruiting updates, and market insight. Maintain accurate candidate and requisition information within the applicant tracking system. Represent Waltonen professionally to candidates and promote the company's capabilities, culture, and career opportunities. Research recruiting markets and identify creative sourcing strategies for specialized talent. Support employer branding, recruiting events, university/technical school outreach, and employee referral initiatives. Assist with developing and updating job descriptions as business and project needs evolve. All employees are required to work within the confines and responsibilities of the quality system.
