Power BI Developer

R&D DevOps Team MemberThe selected candidate would be part of R&D DevOps team, focusing on Power BI services management and development. They should have excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and internal customers. The candidate should be capable of collecting, understanding, and translating requirements from stakeholders into technical feature implementations within Azure DevOps. Flexibility in adjusting work hours to accommodate global R&D teams and other team members is required. The candidate will also be responsible for planning and coordinating work with other R&D DevOps Data Insights team members. Preferred work timings would be in the Pacific Time zone, and it would be ideal for the candidate to work from the Lake Forest or San Leandro office as per AVEVA's Dynamic Work policy.Top 3 objectives for this role:Design, Develop, Deploy, Manage and Support Power BI Reports.Ability to design and maintain efficient data models, schemas, and database structures to optimize storage.Working experience with Power BI Services deployment pipelines and workspace management.Perfect CV, what 3 things will you want to see on it?Working experience with Power BI Services deployment pipelines and workspace management.Ability to design and maintain efficient data models, schemas, and database structures to optimize storage.Experience working with various data sources, including Cosmos DB, Excel, SQL Server, Azure SQL, SharePoint Lists/Libraries, and Azure DevOps REST APIs.Essential qualifications for the role:Translate end user requirements into technical implementation with a focus on Power BI development.Design, Develop, Deploy, Manage and Support Power BI Reports.Ability to design and maintain efficient data models, schemas, and database structures to optimize storage.Working experience on designing prototypes and mockups.Working experience with Power BI Services deployment pipelines and workspace management.Experience working with various data sources, including Cosmos DB, Excel, SQL Server, Azure SQL, SharePoint Lists/Libraries, and Azure DevOps REST APIs.Change management and source control for Power BI reports.General understanding of Azure DevOps work management and CI/CD processes related to Power BI.
