Project Manager (La Vergne, TN)

The Role The Project Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring successful delivery of projects from award through installation with a focus on exceptional customer service. This role is responsible for executing projects within scope, schedule, and budget throughout the project life cycle. This role is based on-site in La Vergne, TN. Your Responsibilities Partnerwith engineering and sales teams to understand project requirements andconstraints to complete project plan and conduct internal and externalkick-off meetings. Responsiblefor creating and managing project schedule, budget, communication plan,and risk register. Responsible for planning and execution of riskmanagement plans. Alignproject plan with cross-functional groups, including engineering, quality,and manufacturing. Work with cross-functional groups to develop mitigationplans and corrective actions when necessary. Serveas the primary point of contact for customers and third-party inspectors. Build customer relationships, while balancing business priorities. Resolvecustomer complaints and issues. Prepareinternal and external project reports and conduct project status meetings. Manageproject scope and changes. Prepare, submit, and manage internal andexternal change orders. Conductslessons learned to develop and implement corrective actions. Requirements Minimumof three years of experience managing complex development or manufacturingprojects. Bachelor'sdegree from four-year college or university. Experienceinterpreting customer specifications, contract terms, and proposals. JDEsystems and Microsoft Project experience preferred. Ability to travel between La Vergne, TN and Ogden, UT, approximately 20%.
