Job Description
Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) / Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for an exciting opportunity. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality respiratory care to patients.

Job Details

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Schedule: 12-hour Night Shifts, 17:45 - 06:15
• Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend
• Holiday Requirements: 2 winter holidays

Orientation Schedule

• Days 1 & 2: NEO/CST at the designated campus
• Days 3 & 4: Orientation and modules at Liberty Hospital

Responsibilities

The Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for:

• Assessing patients' respiratory conditions and needs.
• Administering respiratory therapies and treatments according to established protocols.
• Monitoring patient progress and making necessary adjustments to care plans.
• Collaborating with healthcare team members to deliver optimal patient care.

Experience Requirements

Candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist.
• Preferred: 3 years of CRT or RRT experience, with pediatric and NICU experience being a plus (NRP certification required for handling pediatric patients).
• New Graduates: Not accepted for this position.

Licensure and Certification Requirements

Qualified candidates must possess the following certifications and licenses:

• Active RRT or CRT certification
• Missouri State License (must be in hand)
• BLS and ACLS certifications

• Bi-weekly pay schedule
• Cancellation Policy: The client may cancel one shift per pay period without cost to the client and without pay to the employee, provided a minimum of 2 hours notice is given.

EMR System

The facility utilizes the Altera Sunrise system (formerly known as Allscripts); prior experience with this system is not required.
