Learning Specialist - Holistic Student Success

Responsibilities Provide support to the Center for Holistic Student Success Focus on 1:1 academic student support meetings, workshops, and community-building events Assess the academic progress of at-risk students and assist them in developing individualized study and remediation plans Create proactive student success interventions and analyze student outcome data Assist with the training, development, and organizing of EUSOM tutors Facilitate workshops focused on academic support interventions within or across 6 academic programs Collaborate with Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS), religious and spiritual life, and community providers for optimal mental health offerings Advocate for issues important to the students and community as a whole Qualifications Masters degree required 1-3 years of related experience required Experience advising students in their study strategies: didactic, clinical and standardized testing Licensure examination preparation experience in related health science fields Work/life integration and time management Experience working with students with disabilities and accommodations needed Experience working with diverse student learners including but not limited to students underrepresented in medicine, international students and students with English as a second language. #J-18808-Ljbffr Jobtailor
