Sterile Processing Technician

Experience in sterile processing required. Must have CPR certification. Includes weekend shifts. No scheduling requests can be accommodated. Call is required on weekends, with an expectation of up to four shifts every six weeks. Experience with biological indicators and cleaning equipment preferred. Familiarity with sterilization procedures is necessary. Experience in high-level disinfection and immediate-use steam sterilization is an asset. Preferred experience includes general surgical specialties, dental, cardiovascular, and orthopedic. Traveler should be flexible with scheduling. Previous charge experience is not applicable for this role. References from supervisory or higher positions are required at the time of submission. Background checks will be conducted on all candidates. Maximum requested time off is 10 days, with no days off within the first two weeks. Compliance modules are required to be completed pre-start and annually.
